What’s Next? Remake

I already posted this before, but I thought I could repost this with more info. So this is just an addend to another post on remakes because honestly, they are multiplying like flies. And I’m talking remakes of Korean, Taiwanese or Chinese dramas. No Japanese doramas yet, except there is talk of a Boys Over Flowers remake.

  • Mother (2020) airs March 5 on Line Tv and it’s a remake of the highly acclaimed Japanese dorama of the same name. Pancake Khemanit stars in this remake as a teacher who learns a student of hers is being abused and does something about it.
  • Boss & Me (2020) remake of a very popular Chinese drama stars Push Puttichai and Aom Sushar in this story of a girl who loves food and her boss.
  • Chun Cheu BussabaBee Namthip and Film Thanapat star in this remake of the Korean drama, My Lovely Sam Soon. Bee Namthip plays the nang’ek and unlike in the Korean version, is just plain instead of being overweight.
  • Another Miss Oh (2020) has Yong Armchair and Green Ausadaporn as the leads in this remake of a critically acclaimed Korean drama in which the lives of two women intersect because of their shared name.
  • In Time With You (2020) – starring Pae Arak and Mo Monchanok is a remake of the 2011 Taiwanese drama about best friends who strive to find love only to realize they love each other.
  • My Sassy Girl was just recently announced by True4u and of course it’s based off the classic Korean movie of the same name. With Kaew Jarinya as sassy girl and Best Nathasit as the boy who finds himself in a relationship with her.
  • Deja Vu – is another Tawanese drama remake with few details right now on where it is at production wise, but it’s supposed to start Pong Nawat and Esther Supreeleela as a couple with lots of tragedy in their lives, but the heroine has a chance to change things through time travel.
  • Ruk Woon Wai Jao Chai Kob has a favorite couple in Son Yuke and Vill Wannarot in a story of a hero who has amnesia, meets heroine, forgets heroine and so on in this remake of a famous Taiwanese drama, Prince Who Turns Into a Frog.
  • WHO ARE YOU (2020)/ Tur Kon Nun Keu Chan Eek Kon (GMM 25) This is a remake of the Korean high school drama with the same name, starring Krist Perawat, and Namtan Tipnaree as the leads.
  • I Need Romance 3 – True4u is remaking I Need Romance 3 with Pancake Khemanit and New Thitipoom, the original was part 3 of a kdrama series that was a little more steamy then most kdramas.
  • Let’s Fight Ghost – Yet another Korean drama gets a remake, the 2015 Bring It On, Ghost with leads played by Orn Patchanan as a ghost girl? and Saint Suppapong as the boy who sees ghosts.

Which Thai remakes are you looking forward to?
