Subbing Now

I’m so busy right now that I haven’t been watching much of anything, but hopefully I’ll find time in March to start watching a few series. I have been keeping an eye on what’s being subbed, so now it’s time for another edition of Subbing Now.

Muse is now subbing a number of lakorns, including Jao Mae Asorapit (2020), Sapai Import (2020), Talay Prae (2020), and Fah Fak Ruk (2020). But there are a couple of upcoming lakorns that should air soon. Ruk Laek Pop (2020) is a historical lakorn that features the past and present and stars Vill Wannarot and Film Thanapat. I looked at the fashions of the lakorn here, but little is known about it. It should air on GMM in March. We do have a definitive start date for this next lakorn, Dung Duang Haruetai (2020) which airs March 5 on Channel 3 and I wrote about it here.

Dung Duang Haruetai (2020)

The story of three kingdoms. Kasit ruled by King Rungsimun is the wealthiest and most powerful but they lack a sea route, for this reason, King Rungsimun had planned to politically wed Princess Munisala of Thanta in order to conveniently use their water route. However if both Kasit and Thanta were to unite that would cause Puntoolat to become isolated and for this reason, the three kingdoms have longed lived with suspicion of one another.

Princess Munisala decided to flee in order to escape the wedding because she had heard many ruthless stories about King Rungsimun but she accidentally fell into a trap and was rescued by Prince Tiyuttithorn/ Pee Chai of Puntoolat where she asked to seek refuge.

Upon hearing the news of Princess Munisala’s disappearance and learning that it may be linked to Pee Chai, Princess Tasika feared the start of a war and so she made her way to speak to Pee Chai and got kidnapped by King Rungsimun and brought to Kasit. Tasika believed she was kidnapped as a hostage in order for Kasit to negotiate Munisala’s return and so she began at first to dislike Rungsimun. However Rungsimun had fallen in love with Tasika at first sight and so began their love story, but things get complicated as Mina constantly stirs up trouble, by trying to harm Tasika as she was in love with Rungsimun.

Meanwhile, Munisala and Tiyuttithorn also started to slowly fall in love. Matters get complicated as Mina’s father committed treason against Rungsimun. (Source: Sharerice)

Neko also has a number of project she’s working on. Sorn Ngao Ruk (2020) recently finished airing as well as Mue Prab Khao Saan Sek (2020). Neko has a new project now, Jaobao Glua Fon or Chaobao Klua Fon (2016) as it’s called on This definitely sounds like my cup of tea! 😘😍

Chaobao Klua Fon (2016)

Pang is in urgent needs money to pay for a heart operation for her father. She’s ok with any work, including a singer in a nightclub. Non, a rich guy whose mom will organize a marriage for him with a girl, whom he doesn’t want to marry. Pang needs the money and Non needs freedom. How will they help each other?

Pom Arthun (2020) is a horror lakorn being subbed by Thippy right now. However, I’m more interested in the plot of Rabam Mek (2020) which just started February 13, 2020. I like what I see. This seems like it will have a lot of angst, sorta like Roy Leh Sanae Rai in which the guy is going after the girl for reasons other than love. Should be fun!

Rabam Mek (2020)

Behind their sweet relationship is a love that is filled with bitterness and lies. Nulek felt her heart has been slashed when she suspects her boyfriend Mek, whom she thought was her world, is keeping something from her. Mek under the alias Warit is a “rachasee” member which literally translate to lion. He pretends to get close to Nulek only to get more information of her father Panu and his corrupted activities. And even though he got caught, breaking up with Nulek wasn’t the answer. Mek must do everything to save the life of the woman he loves from the hands of the people in the shadows even though Nulek refuses to see his face anymore.
